CAPITAL MARKETS PROGRAM
at the George Washington University
A global network of leaders in financial policy
Capital markets are essential to the creation of prosperous societies. Yet in many countries, macroeconomic instability, variable regulatory policy, and illiquid markets deter long-term investments and deprive businesses of the finance they need to grow.
Successful capital-market development requires robust skills in financial regulation, market intermediation and policy planning. We are addressing this need by building a cadre of highly-skilled professionals across developing and emerging economies. Our alumni are equipped to strengthen their countries’ markets while exploring innovative financial solutions to pressing social and economic challenges.
Tailored course-work and workshops at the George Washington University Business School
4-month internship in private and public sector institutions across the US financial industry
In-person and online collaboration with alumni from 40+ developing and emerging economies
