CAPITAL MARKETS PROGRAM
A global network of leaders in financial policy
Capital markets are essential to the creation of prosperous societies. Yet in many countries, macroeconomic instability, variable regulatory policy, and illiquid markets deter long-term investments and deprive businesses of the finance they need to grow.
Successful capital-market development requires robust skills in financial regulation, market intermediation and policy planning. We are addressing this need by building a cadre of highly-skilled professionals across developing and emerging economies. Our alumni are equipped to strengthen their countries’ markets while exploring innovative financial solutions to pressing social and economic challenges.
Tailored course-work and workshops at a top-ranked DC based University
4-month internship in private and public sector institutions across the US financial industry
In-person and online collaboration with alumni from 40+ developing and emerging economies
Our 11th program cohort graduated in May, 2024. Our next class, for which applications have now closed, will begin classes in September, 2024. Please contact us with any questions.
We accept nominations from employers in Ministries of Finance, Central Banks, capital-markets regulators, stock exchanges, and other relevant financial market institutions. Each institution can nominate 3-5 candidates per cohort. Please contact us to find out more.
Corporate partners and foundations have many options for engaging with the Program – from participating in our Speaker Series, to hosting interns, or helping us cover tuition and other programmatic expenses. Please contact us to find out how to get involved.
